Ministry Staff

I attended Bob Jones University my first year in college. The studies were demanding, and the atmosphere very strict, but it was a character-building year for me. For a number of reasons I decided to leave, but it was probably the most transforming year of my life. I then transferred to Marshall University where I completed my Bachelor of Business degree. It was then that I moved from Ohio to Indiana and served as a youth pastor (without pay) for three and a half years. That, too, was a great learning experience. I was ordained at Joy Baptist Church and also married there. Soon after marriage, we moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee, where I completed my Master of Divinity degree. From there, we moved to Zionsville, Indiana to take my first full-time pastorate. I have continued to pastor here for the last 25 years. My roots are now here. We buried our daughter, Melissa, at the age of 10 due to cancer. We have two wonderful sons and daughters-in-law and dearly love our four grandchildren. No pastor could ask for a better group of people to minister to than the folks at Cornerstone. It has been a joy and delight to be here.
